THIS IS a website of practical suggestions for how to boost your (and the growing baby's) health during pregnancy. To borrow the name of an old book, it could be termed "What to eat when you're expecting."
I've been eager to write these ideas and put them to the test. I took a women's health/pregnancy course in college which helped me understand the medical side of pregnancy. Applying those principles helped me stave off morning sickness during my first trimester.
My husband is a nurse and he has training in nutrition and health. He also has a great understanding of how the body works, and always has practical advice. His comments may pop up on here from time to time.
Much of my information come from different web pages, medical books, and notes I took during lectures.
I promise to never intentionally post something false on this page. My goal is to promote a boost to your healthy pregnancy. I am not an expert. I am continually learning just like anyone else out there, so other points of view are appreciated in comments.
