Week 32



Baby's Development This Week:

-  Full-blown growth spurt (you may gain a pound a week)
-  Fat deposits
-  Muscles continue growing and moving


What to add to your menu this week:

-  Omega 3's and other essential fatty acids


Baby's brain development is in full-gear and will still need those essential fatty acids we've been talking about from the beginning of pregnancy. Here is a great recipe for breakfast or a midday snack:


Slammin' Sunrise Smoothie
Ingredients:
  • 2-3 cups organic spinach  (calcium)
  • 1 cup  vanilla almond milk (low fat, low calorie, potassium, Vitamin E, vitamin D
  • 1-2 cups frozen strawberries (Vitamin C, fiber, manganese)
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (Vitamin C, fiber, iron absorption)
  • 1/2 frozen banana (potassium, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin C
  • 2 tablespoons flaxseeds (essential fatty acids)
  • (For extra creamy sweetness, at 1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding powder)
